It's flaw is that it <b>looks</b> like a waterfall process :) I often have to explain that it's iterative and there are multiple checkpoints within each bucket. If we don't think about all of these things on every project, we're going to get hosed somewhere.<br /><br />It <b>ends</b> just as things start getting interesting relative to your diagram (Dev Sprint 1) where all the players are starting to move together.<br /><br />A missing piece for us that you've outlined well is the role and responsibility of the UIE. Are those people on your team typically devs who've grown to care more about UX?
